Dies ist nun die Zahl der Männer des Volkes Israel:3der Kinder Parevs zweitausend hundertundzweiundsiebzig;4der Kinder Sephatja dreihundert und zweiundsiebzig;5der Kinder Arah siebenhundert und fünfundsiebzig;6der Kinder Pahath-Moab, von den Kindern Jesua, Joab, zweitausend achthundertundzwölf;7der Kinder Elam tausend zweihundertvierundfünfzig;8der Kinder Satthu neunhundert und fünfundvierzig;9der Kinder Sakkai siebenhundert und sechzig;10der Kinder Bani sechshundert und zweiundvierzig;11der Kinder Bebai sechshundert und dreiundzwanzig;12der Kinder Asgad tausend zweihundert und zweiundzwanzig;13der Kinder Adonikam sechshundert und sechsundsechzig;14der Kinder Bigevai zweitausend und sechsundfünfzig;15der Kinder Adin vierhundert und vierundfünfzig;16der Kinder Ater von Hiskia achtundneunzig;17der Kinder Bezai dreihundert und dreiundzwanzig;18der Kinder Jorah hundertundzwölf;19der Kinder Hasum zweihundert und dreiundzwanzig;20der Kinder von Gibbar fünfundneunzig;21der Kinder von Bethlehem hundertdreiundzwanzig;22der Männer von Netopha sechsundfünfzig;23der Männer von Anathoth hundertachtundzwanzig;24der Kinder von Asmaveth zweihundertvierzig;25der Kinder von Kirjath-Arim, Kaphira und Beeroth siebenhundert und dreiundvierzig;26der Kinder von Rama und Geba sechshundert und einundzwanzig;27der Männer von Michmas hundertzweiundzwanzig;28der Männer von Beth-El und Ai zweihundert und dreiundzwanzig;29der Kinder von Nebo zweiundfünfzig;30der Kinder Magbis hundertsechsundfünfzig;31der Kinder des andern Elam tausendzweihundert und vierundfünfzig;32der Kinder Harim dreihundertundzwanzig;33der Kinder von Lod, Hadid und Ono siebenhundert und fünfundzwanzig;34der Kinder von Jericho dreihundert und fünfundvierzig;35der Kinder von Senaa dreitausend und sechshundertunddreißig.36Der Priester: der Kinder Jedaja vom Hause Jesua neunhundert und dreiundsiebzig;37der Kinder Immer tausend und zweiundfünfzig;38der Kinder Pashur tausendzweihundert und siebenundvierzig;39der Kinder Harim tausend und siebzehn.40Der Leviten: der Kinder Jesua und Kadmiel von den Kindern Hodavja vierundsiebzig.41Der Sänger: der Kinder Asaph hundertachtundzwanzig.42der Kinder der Torhüter: die Kinder Sallum, die Kinder Ater, die Kinder Talmon, die Kinder Akkub, die Kinder Hatita und die Kinder Sobai, allesamt hundertneununddreißig.43Der Tempelknechte: die Kinder Ziha, die Kinder Hasupha, die Kinder Tabbaoth,44die Kinder Keros, die Kinder Siaha, die Kinder Padon,45die Kinder Lebana, die Kinder Hagaba, die Kinder Akkub,46die Kinder Hagab, die Kinder Samlai, die Kinder Hanan,47die Kinder Giddel, die Kinder Gahar, die Kinder Reaja,48die Kinder Rezin, die Kinder Nekoda, die Kinder Gassam,49die Kinder Usa, die Kinder Paseah, die Kinder Beasi,50die Kinder Asna, die Kinder der Meuniter, die Kinder der Nephusiter,51die Kinder Bakbuk, die Kinder Hakupha, die Kinder Harhur,52die Kinder Bazluth, die Kinder Mehida, die Kinder Harsa,53die Kinder Barkos, die Kinder Sisera, die Kinder Themah,54die Kinder Neziah, die Kinder Hatipha.55Die Kinder der Knechte Salomos: Die Kinder Sotai, die Kinder Sophereth, die Kinder Peruda,56die Kinder Jaala, die Kinder Darkon, die Kinder Giddel,57die Kinder Sephatja, die Kinder Hattil, die Kinder Pochereth von Zebaim, die Kinder der Ami.58Aller Tempelknechte und Kinder der Knechte Salomos waren zusammen dreihundert und zweiundneunzig.59Und diese zogen auch mit herauf von Thel-Melah, Thel-Harsa, Cherub, Addon und Immer, aber sie konnten nicht anzeigen ihr Vaterhaus noch ihr Geschlecht, ob sie aus Israel wären:60die Kinder Delaja, die Kinder Tobia, die Kinder Nekoda, sechshundert und zweiundfünfzig.61Und von den Kindern der Priester: die Kinder Habaja, die Kinder Hakkoz, die Kinder Barsillais, der aus den Töchtern Barsillais, des Gileaditers, ein Weib nahm und ward unter ihrem Namen genannt.62Die suchten ihre Geburtsregister, und fanden keine; darum wurden sie untüchtig geachtet zum Priestertum.63Und der Landpfleger sprach zu ihnen, sie sollten nicht essen vom Hochheiligen, bis ein Priester aufstände mit dem Licht und Recht.64Der ganzen Gemeinde wie ein Mann waren zweiundvierzigtausend und dreihundertundsechzig.65ausgenommen ihre Knechte und Mägde, derer waren siebentausend dreihundert und siebenunddreißig, dazu zweihundert Sänger und Sängerinnen.66Und hatten siebenhundert und sechsunddreißig Rosse, zweihundert und fünfundvierzig Maultiere,67vierhundert und fünfunddreißig Kamele und sechstausend und siebenhundertzwanzig Esel.68Und etliche Oberste der Vaterhäuser, da sie kamen zum Hause des Herrn zu Jerusalem, gaben sie freiwillig zum Hause Gottes, daß man's setzte auf seine Stätte,69und gaben nach ihrem Vermögen zum Schatz fürs Werk einundsechzigtausend Goldgulden und fünftausend Pfund Silber und hundert Priesterröcke.70Also setzten sich die Priester und die Leviten und die vom Volk und die Sänger und die Torhüter und die Tempelknechte in ihre Städte und alles Israel in seine Städte.

which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:62These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.63And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.64The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,65Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.66Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;67Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.68And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:69They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.70So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
